National Grazing Lands Conference

This winter I was asked to speak about grass finishing steers using regenerative practices at a national grazing conference. The National Grazing Lands Coalition hosted their three day conference in Myrtle Beach. It was an honor to be asked to speak about a topic I find interesting, exciting and important for the relevance and understanding of the larger conversation about farmland management and the benefits of well managed ruminants. I have been writing posts on our website that cover the topic I spoke about- What is Grassfed and What is Grass Finished

The conference in Myrtle Beach was a blast! I saw some friends and folks whose work I follow, and I had a chance to meet new people and learn about what great work they are doing on their farms and ranches. There were people from all over our country, many folks from out west, but also a good contingency from the south east, mid Atlantic and the north east.  With 14 years of experience, continued learning and time invested developing the skills required for grass finishing quality beef, it was a great opportunity to share my knowledge and speak with other producers who share my interest in grassland management.
