Since 2007, Bruce has developed and grown Dragonfly Farms, a successful leader in grass finished beef in central Virginia. Bruce understands the right genetics coupled with great grazing management is key to producing delicious, nutritious meats. Having built two farms for himself and helping many farmers improve their operations, he has an understanding of laying out farms for form and function. Years in the landscaping and nursery work and being a lifelong naturalist help him understand ecosystems and how to work within them. Bruce has taken classes and worked with bookkeepers and advisors to understand farm economics and how to run enterprise analyses.
